When did it suddenly become cool to hate everything? It's a growing problem, especially in the entertainment world, and no one benefits from an increasingly hard to please, pessimistic audience.

you know the best ones are always the ones that happen by accident. this one was origanally going to be the shadow of a child sitting in a pool of lamplight. but i couldn't get the colour right. the colour that came out is the one in the painting, and there was a lot of it. so i decided to try a new technique (at least for me). i decided to try layering the paint to give it texture. i think it worked pretty well. so ya, this is basically a fluke. so i really didn't give much thought to the name. i finally settled on night... escape because, well, its at night (no duh) and there is a comet "escaping". it sounds fitting to me.
